Allen Trust
Company was founded in 2001 and incorporated as a trust-only bank in
Oregon in April 2006. The Company maintains its corporate
headquarters in Portland, Oregon and is also licensed as a trust
company in Washington.
Allen Trust Company was founded on the principles of being local,
independent, and delivering outstanding personal service to
individuals, families and charitable organizations. Our three
principle lines of business are trust services, investment
management and charitable services. Since its founding, Allen Trust
Company has assembled a team of professionals possessing extensive
experience in the trust, legal, investment, real estate and
financial and charitable planning industries.
Allen Trust Company has no interest in participating in any mergers
or acquisitions.
Allen Capital Management is a companion company of Allen Trust
Company and shares employees and office space. As an SEC-regulated
Registered Investment Advisor, Allen Capital offers customized and
comprehensive wealth management for a variety of clients including
individuals, trusts, and private foundations.
Allen Trust Company is financially stable. Stuart and Sarah Allen
own 100% of the common stock in Allen Trust Company, Inc. and 100%
of the membership units of Allen Capital Management, LLC. Pursuant
to ORS 707.050 and in order to receive its charter, Allen Trust
Company satisfied its obligation to have initial paid in capital of
$1.5 million. In addition, pursuant to ORS 709.030 we currently have
pledged over one million dollars to the Oregon Director of Consumer
and Business Services.
